Dual-wield...MAULS!?! - Page 5

I wonder how big the barb's wrist would have to be to deal with the handle length |||I don't really like the idea. When I think of a maul, there's someone holding a very big one with both arms, brings it back, and then swings very heavily. Dual-wielding would look kinda lame|||bump for some fresh eyes and votes

I still think it'd be awesome to see, but at the same time look somewhat awkward|||I mean....if Renne of Twincruiser can, why the good ol�barbarian should stay back?|||as for a note of realism or not...i've seen guys one hand mauls before...the swinging of a maul has almost nothing to do with the str of the person who weilds it...though it does help some...more about the momentum...gravity does most the work...so just having enough str to set it up on ones shoulder would be enough for one to then be able to swing it with one hand guiding it more then actually swinging it...and it does the job about the same...its more about technique then str really...the str is just being strong enough to lift the head of the maul to a point where it can be swung...after that its all technique and gravity...|||That's ridiculous. Even if you could swing it, how would you control it on the way down? And then lifting it from the ground with one hand would require immense strength.

Then again, we're talking about the Barbarian here. But strength issues aside, they would probably get in each others' ways.|||Absurd, unrealistic, childish, WoWish.|||Quote:
