What about finding nomadic barbarians in D3?

As we go through the Diablo III previews, we can see that there's a lot of attention to the end of the barbarian civilization and to the perception that they became dangerous and agressive people.

I think that (wich I think its a great idea, as it adds some interesting lore about one of the most beloved classes in Diablo 2) will also be used in in a practical way, and though its impossible to guess what we're going to find in it, I just thought that it will be great to find some group of nomadic barbarians (where we could find Larzuk or Anya) trying to survive in a Sanctuary rushed by demons. They can simply be there for adding more elements to the storyline, but it will be funnier if they can be part of a random quest, don't you think? It can also be a special quest for the barbarian class, where you have to help them by getting rid of some enemy bosses or an army in an actual batlle.|||I'm sure we'll find some nomadic Barbarians. Abd Al-Hazir says that many of the barbarians turned into undead when the worldstone blew up, but there's bound to be a handful of survivors like the Hero Barb.|||I like that idea.

Made me think that it might also be cool to encounter random NPCs of the various classes throughout the game. Make them rare enough that it remains novel, but if you somehow run across one, it could start an especially difficult quest (with good NPC as ally) or difficult battle (bad NPC didn't want to be found, or wants your loot).|||Quote:

I love this idea, imagine playing the sorc (wizard :P) and finding a venerable old wizard in his tower...perfecting his magic...and with many powerful items and scrolls filled with spells (which would give +1 to any skill of your choice if you read his master book like radament quest). Then you could battle him and strip him of all his spells and items. After all your a rogue and headstrong young rebel wizard!
