Do we have MANA and FURY ? as a barbarian

Hello everyone,

I would like to know if we gonna have MANA and FURY for certain and specific spell .

Exemple : If you want to whirlwind you have to get the amount of fury required to use that spell.

If you want to Leap attack, you have to use mana only.

Do we have this kind of things with barbarian with fury + mana ?

Thanks|||No, I suggested the Idea of using Stamina and Fury because that makes a whole heap of sense. But it seems as though that would be too complicated. I mean think about it, all classes are going to have different resource systems now, so its already more complicated than D2 was.

I think the Barb will just use fury, but blizzard hasn't finished finalizing exactly how it is going to work yet, they recently mentioned that the fury orb system wasn't working the way they intended it to, so they have changed it.

I believe that it will still work like usual though, for example you attack and enemy with default attack for a while, work up some fury then use it to whirlwind.|||Check Barbarian Design on wiki here if you don't know, thats what it is created for.|||Only fury kid...|||Only Fury, no mana, but Fury may differ a lot from the last seen "traffic light" system of 3 bulbs. Last word came in mid June from Bashiok:

Fury is going through some further iteration. The orb system wasnt really working out like we had hoped and was creating some roadblocks.

I wasn't surprised to hear that, since having just a 1/2/3 bulb system seemed very limiting for the designers. That meant that virtually any puny skill took a third of your entire resource, and that a more powerful skill took 67% or 100%, which would obviously be a single shot spell, if you didn't hit things successfully with it.

What they're doing to change it around isn't known; simply adding more bulbs, say going up to 6 or 9, is an option, but too many defeats the whole purpose. The whole point in the 1/2/3 bulbs was for better visibility and to make the ability work in stages, and if you have too many bulbs then you might as well just have one big one. Just like mana.
