Of course these can be changed before they ship the game but I like them at the moment.
Some passive percentages seem a bit high, for example Cruelty level 15 passive gives a straight 10% lifesteal.
How do you guys feel about these, is the barb going to be a freaking wrecking ball with these passives and skills?|||Yer the 10% life steal so early is not bad LOL
Yer he/she will be a wrecking machine alright !
Pumped up can't wait !|||Difficult to say actually.
In D2, the characters were doing tons of damages, the monsters had consequently rather huge life bars, and the characters had rather low life. Then 10% of damages that were in the tenth of thousands, when you had a life that was around 5000 hit points, it was indeed a lot (a good percentage of your overall life).
But perhaps these numbers have changed a lot and it could then have a less important effect. For example if, now, the hit points of the monsters are of the same order as the hit points of the characters and the damages delt to the monsters have been scaled down accordingly.
Although, if I remember well, life stealing could not be obtained on a weapon. Only through skills or passive skills.|||Quote:

Bah couldn't find any solid about that but in the new AH screenshots there was lifesteal in armors (they sure look helmets to me but a helmet named BRUTALITY BLADE??).

And a little more about the life leech, here is a official quote from blizzard:
Blizzard Quote: (Source)
There are skills that have life leech ability, and literal life leech affixes. Theyre not as crazy as they were in Diablo II. --Diablo
I'm not against high percentage life leech at all, I hated potion chugging .|||I love seeing some defensive oriented passives! I'm going to have the most badass tank Barb this side of Tristram!

It's like I stand somewhere and do some salvaging or skill changing and in the meantime my Fury slowly raises. It would take 8min 20 sek for a bulb of Fury (let's say its 100 units max) to get filled up. Then I can jump and slaughter few mobs using any skills cause my Fury is full and I will end fighting having my resource almost full cause the fight will raise it. And after that I can do whatever I want without worrying that the Fury will degenerate. Don't you find it too OP?|||Honestly, it seems more like a "start off every fight with a bang" passive than a resource breaking passive.
If you're using skills that carve out 30-60% chunks out of your Fury orb, this passive will be pretty damn useless.
It does sound like it will be of great utility to a hit and run style Barbarian in PvP, though.|||Quote:

Well, I don't play PvP so that will not be an issue for me. I think about taking this one cause it answers my type of gameplay - I very frequently stop to check my gear, stats, do some things in inventory etc. I also very often do pauses while playing since I got 2 little daughters that I need to take care off So in the meantime my barbarian can get furious and with that passive I don't mind him doing so ;P|||Ah, true. Given that we no longer have single player, we probably don't have a pause function. Depending on how lax skill changing requirements are, you might even be able to switch this passive on after combat.|||Quote:

I didn't think about "pausing" with Esc (like it was in D2) but just placing my character in a safe place while going AFK. With this passive when I come back the Fury should be full again
